Columbia Journalism School holds two events to celebrate the accomplishments of its graduates.


Journalism Day

The annual Pringle Lecture will be delivered, followed by the presentation of professional and student awards and prizes. Prize winners will be recognized again in front of family and guests during the Journalism Graduation Ceremony (see below).

Date: Wednesday, May 22, 2019

Time: 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Location: Roone Arledge Auditorium, Alfred Lerner Hall

Speaker: TBD 

Tickets: Three (3) per graduate. Students can register for tickets and pick them up after submitting their graduation survey

Reception: Immediately following ceremony; Furnald Lawn (rain location - Pulitzer Hall)

Caps and Gowns: Not required; business attire

Diplomas: Graduates receive diplomas in the mail mid-June
