Where to Stay
There are a variety of options for accommodations during Commencement season. Several off-campus options are detailed below.
Accommodation
Traveling by subway will be the best option for most people. Consider choosing accommodations near a subway stop. If you plan on visiting campus, the Number 1 Train connects all of Columbia University’s campuses in upper Manhattan.
Discounted rates may be available to students and guests at some local hotels upon inquiry. Hotels fill up well in advance, so it is recommended that you make your reservation as soon as possible. There are numerous other hotels in New York City that are not listed below, many of which are only a short subway ride from the University.
