The Class Day ceremony celebrates the accomplishments of all bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree candidates of The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science.

Students' names are read as they process across the stage and receive a class pin. Student life, academic, and alumni awards and prizes are conferred.

Tickets: Not Required
 
Reception: There is no official reception after the Class Day ceremony. Individual departments may hold receptions before or after the ceremony or University Commencement.
 
Caps and Gowns: Academic regalia is required. Starting March 7, 2017, regalia will be sold at the Columbia Bookstore. Please refer to the website for pricing and availability.
 
Diplomas: All diplomas will be mailed to graduates upon degree conferment on University Commencement Day. Please visit the University Registrar website to ensure that you have successfully applied for your degree and to ensure that your permanent address is updated for mailing.
