Tamara Hache
Tamara A. Hache is an educator and cultural studies scholar from Argentina, currently pursuing a PhD in Latin American and Iberian Cultures at Columbia University. She studied literature at the University of Buenos Aires, a public institution that shaped her enduring commitment to accessible, inclusive education. Her research explores the intersections of print culture, visual culture, and geographical imaginations in the 19th century Southern Cone. As an educator, she has taught language, literature, and Core Curriculum courses, and served as a fellow at Columbia’s Center for Teaching and Learning. Her pedagogy is grounded in inclusive student engagement and care-based practices that make space for all voices to emerge. Deeply committed to the Humanities, she views learning as a collaborative and liberatory practice, one that empowers students to question dominant narratives and imagine new futures.
